Japan will be allowing visa holders who left Japan before the entry restrictions were exposed, to re-enter Japan from 5 August. Current visa holders who wish to return to Japan will have to undergo PCR tests. This new rule only applies to those who were in Japan on a long-term visa and left the country before the entry restrictions.
