COVID situation in Asia
カリン
Taiwan and Singapore, who successfully managed to keep COVID in control last year are facing a new spike in infections.
Universities have switched to remote learning and museums have closed as measures to control the spread in Taiwan.
Singapore has heightened its alert to the highest level, banning eating out and ordering its people to study and work from home.

On the other hand, India as well as its neighbours, such as Nepal, have been facing a chaotic situation, battling with the huge number of infections and the lack of medical resources to tackle COVID.
This has contributed to high death rates in the countries.
