Japanese don't drink alcohol?
Maryna
I often hear from foreigners about the myth that the Japanese never drink, and if they do, they get drunk very quickly. The reason is obvious, since Japan is considered the healthiest nation in the world, so alcohol somehow does not fit with this. In addition, the Japanese are workaholics, so they should not have time for bars. Perhaps that's what you think?

That was a joke. In fact, everything is completely different. The Japanese love to drink and they drink a lot. This happens almost every evening, but more often on Fridays. Colleagues go to the bar along with their seniors, so it can be called a weekly corporate party. At the same time, they do not leave work and discuss it right at the table; it is not customary for the Japanese to distinguish between work and personal life.

The Japanese drink randomly. Everyone drinks as they like. For example, in Japan people can drink vodka with beer, and whiskey with wine. What is most interesting, is that on Saturday, many Japanese return to work. Sake remains Japan's favorite drink. Although the ladies prefer wine more. The Japanese also drink beer, in bars you can see many different types for everyone.

Didn't expect this? The Japanese government didn’t too. The state is trying to actively fight this. There was even a slogan “do not drink at least a day”, but the problem couldn't be solved. This is the way the Japanese cope with stress at work. You probably know about their hard work, this is not a myth at all.
