Hm~ that can vary from country to country! Did you have a license back home, or get an international license before coming to Japan? Some countries allow direct transfers of licenses, but Americans like me have to take a driving test. I think it'd be best to ask your school or other international students from your country who managed to get a Japanese drivers license!
