Let’s turn research findings into robots that play an active role in the real world.

Keigan is a robotics start-up founded in 2016, based at the ‘Keihanna Open Innovation Centre’ in Kyoto. Our mission is to create ‘robots that anyone can use with ease’.

We develop the entire robot technology stack in-house. At the component level, we have our proprietary ‘KeiganMotor’. Furthermore, since 2026, we have been developing a semi-humanoid robot that combines a mobile base with a human-like upper body.
